Meowza colored over the exposed skin in a tan color on a new layer first.


Then applied the Multiply blend mode to it.


Then on a new layer he re-painted in the highlighted areas on the lightest parts of the body using a white paintbrush.



Then set this layer's blend mode to Overlay.
