Must be something to cook them birds... so it's a social media app... haha
Posted by inspired12 on 2009-07-10 15:50:22
A desktop air app to access all the eggs and services? perhaps... an automated image generator that will predict content that you need based on your browser history and mouse gentrues? not sure, I doubt it... an auto-magical synthetizer for music? I dunno... but Im sure its going to be eggspectacular... and im eggstatic to find out. :P
Posted by rammserker on 2009-07-10 16:57:44
It's a vapourware AIR/Ajax/Flex/Java tool to make our brains shutdown, restart and burn itself thinking about this tool and what the hell it does...
Posted by flavia on 2009-07-10 17:43:10
A tangible app (similar to Crane) that enables the user to creep up and hit their ex over the head when they least expect it. You know they deserve it.
Posted by DoomHobo on 2009-07-10 18:03:44
Probably something like flash an animator. If not then an app that rips files off the internet, Example: You're watching a youtube video and you use frying pan which is a firefox add on and you download the video.
Posted by Syd on 2009-07-10 18:07:16
My guess is some sort of animation tool. Moving graphics. Sizzle...
Posted by DoomHobo on 2009-07-10 19:28:22
Um can we guess as many times untill we win cause if so then its a 3d modeler if we cant than ignore this.

An application that "cooks" all your Aviary creations together, or combines them, bringing all the previous applications together to make one huge giant mother loving 747 of a bird, which swoops down on wings like eagles' and tears off the heads of anyone that uses PhotoShop, that stupid and expensive piece of s**t.
Posted by TheJehosephat on 2009-07-10 22:13:19
A program that "cooks up" your egg files for sale on aviary?
Posted by DragonBot on 2009-07-10 22:38:19
Does is cook up your .eggs to export them in different file formats?
Posted by mijolobo on 2009-07-11 00:00:52
A Transmogrifier that allows one to change apps and underwear at will! Or maybe it's a omelet thingie where you can stuff it with ooey gooey gobs of cheese. No wait! A sound manipulator for an audio app.
Posted by Jeff on 2009-07-11 01:06:39
I'm betting it is the code name for DigiMix, the Audio Editor you acquired earlier this year.
Posted by Timothy Moenk on 2009-07-11 01:17:32
An that let's you import and export in different common file formats. And sync to the desktop cuz it's a hybrid desktop/cloud synergistic solution. And open files on your system straight in aviary just cuz. And make toast. To go with the eggs.
Posted by moomle on 2009-07-11 05:53:15
I bet it's a program to code giant robots to cook all your various food items and to destroy Tokyo or whatever city you wish, mwahahaha
Posted by Ben on 2009-07-11 09:50:12
It is an audio editing app, i am sure of that. what did i win?
Posted by Sonic3535 on 2009-07-11 10:28:49
Ibis/Hummingbird. Or possibly an app that takes your pictures and brings into the real world as edible objects!
Posted by Nokrosis on 2009-07-11 10:54:00
A web or desktop app to help mix up all those eggs we have been decorating (on Aviary), so we can make really tasty design food =).
Posted by Matt on 2009-07-11 11:23:02
A app that mixes all of the other apps together to make them easily accessable to eachother.
Posted by Kastian on 2009-07-11 13:01:38
An amazing application that really give the early bird the worm. The first user every day gets the biggest breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, the works) and everyone after them only gets the leftovers. I see lots of fun and many more people staying up until 12:01 to get that amazing first meal!
Posted by scott ( cobra405) on 2009-07-11 15:53:00
ok so wee put all the eggs in the pan and make a lovely omelet who cares what it dose lets eat :)
Posted by Garret on 2009-07-11 16:03:11
When I think "frying pan" I think a frying pan of culture, so Aviary's app Frying Pan would be an app that would let you easier access you're aviary library of creations so that you can collage them or other such practical uses.
Posted by Matt on 2009-07-11 16:21:57
Something that meshes all of the birds together...I'm thinking an all-in-one suite or a frontface menu to the suite. I'll go with the menu. Let's hope I'm right!
Posted by Blaze on 2009-07-11 19:21:14
I'm going to guess it's the desktop version of the aviary suite that you can download. So if you don't have internet access you can load up Frying Pan and still have access to the various aviary apps.
Posted by Tim Holder on 2009-07-12 04:48:40
I think it's some sort of animation tool. That seems next up in line. On another note, you guys should create a downloadable versions of the apps so us artist who use your tools can create wonderful art with an internet connection. Keep up the great work!
Posted by Olevonpeter on 2009-07-12 10:56:33
I think it maked meals like burgers, pasta an salad.
And you can control the food self :)
Posted by Ethanmadden on 2009-07-13 12:40:11
It lets you "cook down" and blend your eggs from several different original sources (for example, it can pull your vectors from raven and overlay them on a background you made in peacock without converting the vectors to bitmaps)
Posted by Tatsumaki on 2009-07-13 19:02:58
It's probably some kinda hobo editor called Frying Pan. I guess with Frying Pan you'd be able to take horrible pictures of Hobos and turn them into something worth looking at. Like a piece of hotdo-- I mean, broccoli.
Posted by Norman Avila on 2009-07-14 01:33:16
A video editor like pinnacle video spin or Windows Moviemaker
Posted by Eric on 2009-07-14 15:38:58
A tool to manage your eggs in large volume so you can clear out (fry) old unneeded eggs easily.
Posted by Fravo on 2009-07-14 19:36:39
It's an utility that "cooks up" the .eggs into other formats (?)
Posted by enigmatic on 2009-07-15 12:25:32
I'm sticking with my .egg format converter, because that's what Frying Pans do to eggs, they cook them.
Posted by Paul Holtz on 2009-07-16 05:02:48
Wow! Its a cool and pretty graphic designing cooking pan. An application that helps to make a beautiful graphic.
Posted by Brettandrew717 on 2009-07-16 17:35:21
3-D photo editing software, capable of allowing you to create stunning 3 Dimensional images.
Posted by Davin on 2009-07-17 02:37:04
Could Frying Pan be something similar to Adobe Bridge to help organize your images, or something to use multiple applications at the same time?
Posted by Lyxs on 2009-07-17 11:37:40
Shiny new aviary app that takes our eggs ( creations ), breaks them appart and fries them. What for ? Well, now we will be able to mix stuff up and make scrambled eggs
Posted by brettandrew717 on 2009-07-18 18:21:21
takes your images and adds a burn effect to them, longer you cook it the stronger the effect is
Posted by wlznz on 2009-07-18 23:41:07
Perhaps a GUI front end for all the apps to be accessed from.
Posted by MyEvilTwin on 2009-07-19 12:30:22
Something that cooks eggs, and can make omelettes, pancakes, etc. with them... I'm guessing a file convertor that converts '.egg's to '.png's, '.gif's, '.jpeg's, and so on?
Posted by ALLYartistE on 2009-07-19 15:43:43
Ok, her's my guess. If you're talking about the next app to come out, not counting Myna, because pro users already have that, I'm guessing hummingbird, the 3-d image genarator.
If you're talking completely unrealeased to the public, not even in the incubator, I'm guessing that it's an animation maker?
Posted by Alex- on 2009-07-20 01:13:44
Knowing my cooking, how about automatic burn effects for your images? Haha.
Posted by Nic Freed (robonic007) on 2009-07-20 07:55:03
I'm gonna guess... Audio editor? Cuz frying pans make sounds when you hit people with 'em :D
Posted by Daniel Boyle on 2009-07-20 15:05:23
I'd also bet on the 3d modeler app. although if so then i would expect the image of the frying pan to have been made in it, and it doesnt look like a rendering (more svg-y)
Posted by Mijolobo on 2009-07-20 16:25:29
Frying pan=all the apps from one app where the integration is seamless, transparent.
Posted by effectus on 2009-07-20 20:06:22
now let's see... you have eggs... you have a frying pan.... what can one do? fry the eggs in the pan of course. so i'll go with some of the others before me, guessing it'll be an app that mashes all the other apps together somehow, or that allows an easy transition between them, while working on the same file.
Posted by Plobafob on 2009-07-21 07:04:35
I think it's an app which synchronizes other aviary apps, so you could draw in raven and it would immediately appear in phoenix.
Posted by AnubisibunA on 2009-07-22 11:58:07
Did someone already say, online photo gallery? Per user maybe. ---- website builder ---- chat
Posted by Aha on 2009-07-22 12:49:39
It must be Israel (iZ). 1. He's listed on the Aviary products list. And 2. he says "We apologize for the inconvenience to anyone this affects and will make it up to you by eating a delicious double-fudge chocolate sundae. Yum.". So he is a @%^$^! and we need the Frying Pan to hit him. It's totaly clear now...
Posted by JmK on 2009-07-22 22:21:08
A cross-application bridge tool to mix up content from all the Aviary apps.
Posted by Firewalker on 2009-07-24 03:12:11
Hue and saturation, like a shadow and shine maker thingy??
Posted by OzzyBear on 2009-07-25 16:17:27
How about where you can scramble your eggs together to come up with a new - um - dish? Such as a phoenix with a myna egg (image with sound), or something more complex later down the road.
Posted by OzzyBear on 2009-07-25 16:20:27
--- Or how about just something I can hit my head against when the clock says 3 am and coffee isn't cutting it any longer.
Posted by WalrusGumboot on 2009-07-26 16:19:44
Hmm... Dunno what it does, but maybe it'll fry my computer?
Posted by Jep on 2009-07-28 13:37:00
A new state-of-the-art super awesome algoritme that's easy to use. And make Aviary a lot more enjoyable.
Posted by learnaviary on 2009-07-28 21:09:07
the frying pan WILL be released in august I got the info from iZ
Posted by Jep on 2009-07-29 13:38:41
Let's see... What do we know about the Frying Pan.. It's NOT a AIR (desktop) application, NOT an animator, NOT a video editor, NOT 3d modeler, NOT an-export-egg-to-a-different-format app, NOT aaudio editor, NOT a font creator, NOT a web gallery, AND even not a hobo editor.. IS it still worthy?
Posted by Sincetry on 2009-07-29 13:56:45
@learnaviary: Mmm. Maybe, but not likely. Since flash isn't working on an Iphone (at this moment) and it's still hard to get an app in the App store. But editing on the go can...
Posted by learnaviary on 2009-07-29 21:53:59
I talked to iZ and he said they where working on one.
Posted by darkfire on 2009-07-31 02:38:40
@learnaviary: I thought you said you knew exactly what it was. I doubt it's three things. And if you know, what's the point of guessing?
Posted by learnaviary on 2009-07-31 09:37:25
@darkfire I think I know what it is not positive though
Posted by darkfire on 2009-08-01 22:57:28
@learnaviary - if iZ told you, as you said earlier, then shouldn't you be positive? or did he just hint at it?
haha sorry if I'm being on the buggy side but you knowing or having at least a good guess makes me jealous.
Posted by Chris Coppenbarger on 2009-08-03 08:52:33
A desktop app written in Adobe Air to access all Aviary services without having to open your web browser.
Posted by darkfire on 2009-08-04 01:57:21
@learnaviary - luckyyyyyy. -- anyway, next guess... does it have to do with worth1000? perhaps a way to be able to easily enter Aviary images in the w1k contests... although I don't know what I'm talking about, not having a Worth1000 account or anything.
Posted by Jep on 2009-08-05 07:17:16
More improvements for all apps! Aviary 2.0 ;) Ow, wait... It's still beta. So... Aviary 1.0 Final. ;P
Posted by Benjamin Sandler on 2009-08-08 18:15:11
It's something where alle the eggs (apps) get fried to a well tasting omelette. Or in other words: A combination of the beste things of all apps.
Posted by on 2009-08-12 13:36:01
An animated .gif editor? Sorry if someone else already posted that, I'm too lazy to read the comments left by everyone else...LoL
Posted by George Baker on 2009-08-13 06:19:18
an app that lets you get to all your work from diffrent apps easyily
Posted by Learnaviary on 2009-08-13 11:25:59
Well i think that the name if this app might be "wort" becuase on www.aviary.com/splash.swf there is something on the ground that spells Wort
Posted by Ryan on 2009-08-15 17:39:42
Could it possibly be an application where you can make more applications?
Posted by Michael on 2009-09-07 20:15:22
it takes your .egg files and.... cooks them into delicious scrambled pictures for your Phoenix to eat?
Posted by mintpaws on 2009-09-07 20:31:50
not sure if it matters but... I just poste.d comment 119 as michael so i just want to say that if i win. i am mintpaws

Or maybe it's an elaborate scheme to get us all confused and stressed so that we don't even realize that they are really trying to steal our ideas and erase our memories and.... What was I saying? Oh well, I think it's an audio editing program.
Posted by Stateofdenial on 2009-09-13 07:24:36
'The Frying Pan' is an anagram for 'Pang Her Nifty.' This could be the title of a piece of software which will enhance the web-browsing experience by issuing sudden, sharp bursts of nifty all over one's favorite websites.
Posted by DeSalvionjr on 2009-09-16 16:48:39
A graphic organizer application (kind of like visio), either that or it really is a frying pan
Posted by WildGarfield on 2009-09-22 10:44:21
Its an application that will allow organisation of .egg file from all the aviary tools and possibly allow the .egg file to be combined together as a project and then export the finished product - in this case cooked egg
Posted by Tiffany Earrings on 2009-10-20 01:36:14
That's interesting. I will definitely try on my twitter account and the step by step instruction is really good.

A utility that computes random values to heat up your macbook pro enough to cook an egg and 4 strips of bacon on it.
